The Story of the Cape to Cairo Railway and River Route 1877-1922

Compiled, illustrated and edited by Leo Weinthal. Four volumes including map and index to volumes I, II and III. Black leather spines with gilt titles and leather corners. Green cloth covers. Very slight scuffing to green cloth. Minor sporadic foxing , mostly to fore -edge. Water staining to bottom of the map folder and index but doesnt affect text. Volume III has water damage to bottom left corner - some of the end papers have stuck together and there is a 3cm chip where pulled apart. Does not affect text but there is a feint stain. Very good condition overall, but some defects.
