A biography of Oswell, complete in two volumes. Bound in red cloth boards with lettering and minor paint flecks to spines, which are sunned. Woman Pilot

The author gained her ‘A’ licence when she was seventeen. Arriving in England from South Africa the author was still in training when the war broke out. The Civil Aviation authorities decided to only employ male pilots and so refused her services. She then joined the A.T.A. in the all-women’s Ferry Pool and after the war received the King’s Commendation for having ferried more aircraft than any other pilot, man or woman.
