Book is sound and contents in good condition.

No dust jacket. Blue cloth covers in good condition displaying minor wear, with a sunned spine. Includes intact statistical fold-out.

Black and white illustrations throughout. Foxing to the endpapers, half title and last two leaves. Leaves show some darkening. The bottom, back corner of board shows significant damage (probably caused by a dog chewing on it) and affects the very last pages, though none of the text itself is affected. DW in very poor condition with parts of the spine area missing and the rest of the spine area split in two. Also significant open tears to the DW.

No date. “Issued under the auspices of the Botanical Society of South Africa.” Stains on front and back covers, chips to top and bottom of spine, corners curled. Past owner’s signature in ink on title page.
